Prior to the colonist of 1935 settlers in Alaska recieved supplies delivered by grand sailing ships. This wonderful sailing vessel sits docked after  delivering much needed supplies to the small pioneer village of Knik, Alaska. These deep keel vessels had to wait for the tide to come in before heading back out to sea. It is late Fall and laterns cast warm accents to the town as the sun starts to set earlier each evening.
